Material composition
Disposal and recycling guidance
This cement is consumed during hydration in concrete production. Hardened concrete containing this cement can be crushed and recycled as recycled aggregate (RC aggregate) in non-structural applications. Consult local waste management authority for disposal of unhardened cement.
Technical disassembly notes
Cement clinker phases (alite, belite, aluminate, ferrite) are irreversibly hydrated. Material separation at end of concrete life is mechanical (crushing, screening).
