Acceptance
By creating a Terrave account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
The service
Terrave provides software for generating Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Digital Product Passports (DPPs), and related environmental documentation for construction products. The platform integrates with third-party verifiers; verification itself is performed by independent third parties.
Your responsibilities
- — Accuracy of product data you upload — Terrave performs calculations, you remain responsible for input accuracy.
- — Compliance with your local regulations and the applicable PCR(s) for your products.
- — Keeping credentials secure and not sharing accounts across your organisation.
- — Lawful use — no attempts to reverse-engineer, resell, or use the platform to generate fraudulent declarations.
Fees
Per-EPD and subscription pricing is published on our pricing page. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your uploaded data and the EPDs and DPPs generated for your products. Terrave retains ownership of the platform, its calculation engine, taxonomies, and aggregated anonymous benchmarks derived from platform usage.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terrave's aggregate liability is limited to fees paid by your organisation in the twelve months preceding the claim. Indirect, incidental, and consequential damages are excluded.
Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days' notice and an opportunity to cure. On termination you can export your data for 90 days; after that it may be deleted.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Toronto, Ontario, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
